We’re currently running our third Quickstart programme. For this intake, we have over 40 London Met Students and Alumni taking part! The four weekly sessions are packed full of business startup information, freelance guidance, expert marketing insights and an overall positive attitude.
We designed Quickstart to give participants the business and personal skills needed to get them to where they want to be; with the confidence and inspiration to do so. Our aim is to help students with business ideas that are ready to go, such as translators, furniture makers, photographers and food businesses.
Starting a business can be really scary (and we totally understand that!) so throughout the programme we address the barriers that prevent people from starting a business, so they can achieve their full potential free from fear and failure.
Our group of like-minded students are encouraged to grow, learn and test out their ideas during the four weeks and to give them the best chance of success after Quickstart we cover everything from working out who their customers are and how to price products and how the business creates value.
Through the programme we also cover aspects of social media marketing, building a website, creating a powerful marketing campaign, finances and legal structures.
