We’re now over halfway through our 10 week Summer Launchpad programme!
So far, this year’s participants have been learning about talking to humans, researching competitors, market size and trends, and how to navigate the Business Model Canvas.
They’ve also have the very valuable opportunity to hear from a range of businesses founders, passing on what they’ve learnt about the process of launching a business.
Testing and validating new ideas skills that are essential for early stage entrepreneurs, and these twin themes underpin the entire Launchpad programme.
This week, we heard from Timbo of OKhi an innovative business with potentially worldwide results. We also visited creative business incubator Cockpit Arts to meet designer-makers with their own businesses – a great chance to find out about the experiences of established entrepreneurs, and ask their own questions. And in the next week we’re covering the finance essentials; unpicking how to cost and price. Plus lots of advice and practice pitching – another essential skill. Hold on to your hats!
