Big Idea Challenge, London Met’s annual pitching competition came to a close yesterday with a prestigious awards evening hosted at the Museum of London.

As our first in-person Big Idea awards since 2019, the night was co-hosted brilliantly by Ella Deadman, Student Enterprise Manager and André Smith, Community and Events manager at Accelerator. Throughout the evening we celebrated some of London Met’s most entrepreneurial, creative and socially minded students, graduates and staff, from all schools and all areas of the university; before we announce all the of this years category winners we’d like to congratulate all of our finalists for making it this far into the competition.

We were delighted to hear from entrepreneur, founder and creative director of multi award-winning agency STUDIO BLUP® London. Dines took the stage and inspired everyone in the room sharing his story and journey into the world of entrepreneurship.

We’re excited to announce that our 2022 Big Idea Challenge Grand Champion award went to Kadeisha Antoine and The City Herbarium, a luxury bespoke beauty service specialising in majority black owned products of high quality, non toxic ingredients focusing on health and wellbeing for lasting change.

Once again we would like to congratulate our 2022 Big Idea Challenge winners, finalists and everyone who took part this year. Thanks to our competition partners NatWest, Lucidica, FounderTribes for helping us make London Met’s 2022 Big Idea Challenge and Schools and College competition one of our biggest ever!
