London Venture Crawl, a thrilling day-long event and tour of London’s enterprise ecosystem, was successfully held on Wednesday 15 March 2023. The event brought together 354 entrepreneurially minded university students and graduates from 13 London-based universities and 5 universities from across the UK and internationally.

Like our cohort from London Met, the majority of universities undertook ‘walking’ crawls this year. To make the day even more exciting, we partnered with and co-led London Venture Crawl with the University of East London, University of Westminster and Queen Mary University of London.

The primary objective of London Venture Crawl was to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among students, and to encourage them to take part in the vibrant startup scene in London. The event was a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of London and gain valuable insights from real world entrepreneurs that will help them succeed in their careers.

In total 43 partners contributed to hosting London Venture Crawl students this year, for us this included stops at some of the most exciting East London spaces such as Experience Haus, DREAM FACTORY and BOXPARK. Participants were given an opportunity to meet and network with entrepreneurs, founders, and industry experts, who shared their experiences and insights on starting and scaling a business.

London Venture Crawl was an excellent platform for students to showcase their own entrepreneurial skills and learn from the best in the industry. It was great to see all the students enthusiastic and engaged throughout the day, and many left with newfound inspiration and ideas for their future ventures.

The event was a massive success, and it has set the standard for future London Venture Crawls. As the first London Venture Crawl since the Coronavirus pandemic, it was a unique opportunity for students to explore and experience the entrepreneurial culture in London once again.

London Venture Crawl brought together four universities, each with a strong reputation for entrepreneurship and innovation. The whole event is designed to create a collaborative environment where students can learn from each other and work together. A massive thanks to University of East London, University of Westminster and Queen Mary University of London for partnering with us for this years London Venture Crawl.

At the end of the day there was a pitching event, which gave students the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills in front of a panel of judges and receive invaluable feedback.

The London Venture Crawl also helped participants to build their networks which could help them in their future ventures. The event was an excellent opportunity for students to meet like-minded people who share the same passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Overall, London Venture Crawl was an unforgettable experience, and we look forward to next years edition of this fantastic event.
