London Met’s flagship business
startup programme

What is Launchpad?

Run by Accelerator, Launchpad is London Met’s flagship business start-up programme.  Delivered in one-day sprints over 12 intensive weeks from June to September, it gives passionate early stage entrepreneurs the knowledge, tools and support needed to fast track an idea into a viable startup venture.

Starting a business is a great way to take control of your future, to be your own boss, and importantly, to do something you love. It can however be a costly, intimidating and confusing process in which there are no guarantees of success.

Launchpad helps participants navigate this journey through a carefully considered programme which addresses key startup topics (such as idea testing, validation and viability), whilst utilising knowledgeable experts and experienced industry mentors.

Past Launchpad Participants

“The best way to describe Launchpad is like an entrepreneurs bootcamp. Your ideas get thrown in at the deep end (along with you and your team) and you are given 12 weeks to test, evaluate, pivot and validate.

If you have an idea or a hunch, even if someone has done it before but think you have a unique approach – I would highly recommend getting involved with London Met’s Launchpad programme. Two thumbs up.”

Nathaniel Dadzie
Co founder, Measure

The programme has been an amazing experience. Having access to industry experts and professional networks has been a massive help in getting our catering business off the ground.

Ayden Kappo & Jasmine Holland

A great place to manifest start-up ideas into a scalable business! The experienced mentors and their lean approach were fundamental in our success. If you can get a spot on the programme, go for it.

Slavomir Semov

You have so many questions when starting up, so having access to experienced business advisers, and a community of other entrepreneurs, is invaluable. It’s really motivating“.
