Originally from Venezuela, Gabriel Pizzolante moved to London in 2007 and did his BA degree on Events Management while working for restaurants and catering companies. While studying, he entered the Business Plan Competition organized by London Met’s University in 2010 and he ended up as one of the finalists.

When he graduated in 2011, Gabriel started developing his new business. Having a background in restaurants, events and food industry he wanted to create his own food business with a different and appealing concept that would be innovative, delicious and adding a seasonality aspect. He founded Mooshie and started trading in 2013.

Mooshie is a new concept of Gourmet Street Food which showcases mushroom-based dishes that go with original sauces for a mouth-watering eating experience. Dishes include a Mushroom Burger (Mooshie Burger), a Ciabatta and a Wrap that contain a mix of mushrooms, wild mushrooms and seasoned vegetables. In 2013, Mooshie started as a food stall at Venn Street Market. After 4 months, they went to Hyde Park for the British Summertime 10-days festival, to the BBC Good Food Show, to Kensington Olympia and other various markets & feasts to showcase the brand. It was a great opportunity to test the concept.

At the moment, they are planning to take part in some other exciting events and looking to redevelop the menu to be able to open a restaurant next year.
