Now in its tenth year, Big Idea Challenge, London Met’s annual pitching competition came to a close yesterday with an awards evening hosted at The Wash Houses in Aldgate East.

The night was co-hosted by Antonio Hines, our 2018 Big Idea Grand Champion and the founder of U Teach Mi, and André Smith, the Community and Events manager at London Met’s Accelerator.

During the evenings proceedings we celebrated some of London Met’s most entrepreneurial students and graduates who had made it through to the finals.

We were delighted to hear from entrepreneur, barber to the stars and SliderCuts founder Mark Maciver, who gave an inspiring talk on his journey through the world of entrepreneurship and the power of networking to help achieve your goals in life.

And now, we’re pleased to announce all the winners of the 2023 Big Idea Challenge!

Our Grand Champion award went to Robbie Peter with Between the Lines.

Readers can get a sneak peek into the captivating story they’re about to dive into with video trailers.
