Creative Enterprise Showcase
Creative Enterprise Showcase is the second event scheduled during Creative Enterprise Month. The Showcase will be highlighting creative businesses that have sprouted from CASS as well as Accelerator. The night will begin with a few short industry talks and a few creative business exhibitions. Later a special showcase will be hosted by ARTAM. The night will then conclude with networking, drinks, and the rest of the creative business exhibitions. Accelerator as well as CASS our connected with London-Met University and will jointly be hosting this event during Creative Enterprise Month.
“There is a wealth of creative talent emerging from the CASS and through the strong partnership between Accelerator and the CASS we can support these students and graduates to start and grow strong creative businesses. At Enterprise London Met we are continually focussed on providing quality experiences and opportunities for our students and graduate to become more enterprising and develop vital skills for their future professional development.  We know the importance of the UK’s Creative Industries and the role that enterprise education within universities play in developing talent and helping them to create sustainable businesses”. Frances Brown stated.
CASS
The Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture, and Design was founded in August 2012. The CASS offers students real world experience by learning through practice, playing with process and working with clients. Student work on personal projects as well as collaborated projects in the community and local businesses. “There is a strong emphasis in our studios on socially engaged Architecture, Art and Design applied to both local and global contexts, and many projects focus on London” The CASS wrote.
Charlotte Gorse
Charlotte Gorse is the Associate Dean of Academic Development and Head of the School of Design at CASS. She has received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Crafts from Manchester-Met University. Charlotte then continued on to receive her Master in Arts in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork, and Jewellery from the Royal College of Arts. “She has worked at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Serpentine Gallery and with Alexander McQueen. Her work has been exhibited at the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, Ashmolean Museum and across Scandinavia with collections in the Museum of Installation and Victoria & Albert Museum” The CASS wrote.
