Last week we had over 200 students visit us at Accelerator, London Met’s specialist business incubator in Shoreditch and the home of the Student Enterprise Programme.

The visits were organised as part of the exciting Create A Winning Business, Developing a Social Enterprise and PR in Practice modules from various London Met courses. We also worked with students from The Cass who are exploring the process of designing and making through the Making Matters module, to prepare them for creating products fit for the upcoming Christmas Market and to sell after graduation.

By visiting Accelerator students got the opportunity to meet some of our startup Founders who are based at Accelerator, ask questions, learn from their experiences and feel inspired by their success stories.

The innovative ‘Create A Winning Business’ module allows students to work on a live project, develop startup business ideas, design business models and discover the skills of pitching. The module explores characteristics of new startups, examines market trends and industry attractiveness, as well as focus on the importance of innovation.  Part of this module allows students to learn about the tech startup scene in London while hearing from various entrepreneurs that are based at Accelerator.

We would like to thank the startup founders for giving up their time to share insights with the students.
