Ilona Filipi studied for a BSc in multimedia between 2004 – 2008; during this time she realised she wanted to go into business for herself and so entered London Met’s Student Business Plan Competition with her idea to set up a small web media company. She was awarded £500 cash and a specially devised scheme from Accelerator, London Met’s Business Incubator, to have her own office space.
The Moove Agency is now trading as a small web media company specialising in the production of websites, WordPress Themes and ecommerce solutions for small businesses and individuals. With an ever increasing portfolio of satisfied clients, Ilona and her team have enabled clients to realise the ecommerce needs by turning their projects into systems of revenues. They have also delivered creative designs for iPhone apps, including logos and web based applications suited to the client needs.
“I have learned the crucial value of figures – usually the higher they are the better! The Student Enterprise Programme has facilitated my independence and increased my determination to become a successful business person.”
The Moove Agency is now focusing on increasing its turnover, offering more services to its clients and building more complex websites. They will be launching a new product for their eCommerce clients shortly and be expanding their team of staff to meet their ever increasing demand for services.
“I have gained so much knowledge through the Student Enterprise Programme and being able to have our own office space has played an important part in achieving a good reputation for our company and for this we are truly grateful.”
